Our final day of term promises to be very exciting with all sorts of treats and surprises planned. Please send your child to school with a picnic blanket and a few special treats which they can enjoy on the lawn with their friends before going home for the holidays. Our festival guest of honour will be at the gate wating to receive the little gifts of kindness which our Bluebirdies have prepared for children in need. We would love our Bluebirdies to personalise their little package or treat with a card or drawing. As a thank you, our guest of honour will give them a coupon which they will exchange for a chocolate treat at school.

Please remember, the size of the gift is not important – it is the thought behind the action. Our aim is to teach the little ones about other-centred love and kindness as per the school’s outreach imperatives. Bluebird’s philosophy is based on developing our little ones’ awareness and instilling mindfulness which leads to simple acts of kindness.
